Shy Guy Surfing is an arcade-style endless runner inspired by mobile games like Flappy Bird and Super Mario Run. A new feature has been added: Trial Mode, where you can compete to finish a full playthrough as fast as possible, using special cards to change how your game is played. The game now features a custom pause menu, allowing you to restart the current area or trial run at any time. A custom cursor that can be hidden under the screen border has been included, along with the ability to record the player’s chosen costume in their save file. Multiple issues causing softlocks, including a boss fight in Beyond Mode, have been fixed. Additionally, a rendering issue causing background glitches during the final boss fight in Beyond Mode has been resolved, as well as visual issues with the Blargg/Nep-Enut gizmos.
