In the latest installment of the SantaCorps series, SantaCorps 4, a group of kind-hearted individuals from all corners of the globe unite under the iconic figure of Kris Kringle. Their annual mission is to spread joy and happiness, but this year, they face a unique challenge: they are running behind schedule. The world is overwhelmed by corporate greed and artificial festive cheer, causing the Christmas Spirit, the source of the SantaCorps’ magical powers, to hit an all-time low.

Equipped with their festive mysticism, enchanted machinery, and a dash of good fortune, you are tasked with creating a miracle this holiday season and beyond. Embark on this fast-paced adventure solo or with up to three friends, donning the legendary red and white attire as you navigate through over 20 exhilarating action stages spread across five vibrant worlds.

Credits

SantaCorps 4 was directed by Ethan Redd, with Seth Redd serving as the Lead Concept Artist. The story was written by Aaron Redd, and the audio was directed by 2 Mello. The game features music from 2 Mello, crisp, DV-I, and Skybridge. This labor of love was crafted by Team V in just over a month, bringing you a belated yet joyful holiday gift.

Director’s Note

In 2017, I pondered the scarcity of Christmas games compared to the abundance of holiday movies. Fond memories of my brothers and I playing a fan-made Christmas mode of SRB2 every year inspired me to create the first SantaCorps game in just three days. Since then, it has become a tradition to allocate time each year to develop a game that celebrates the joy and spirit of the holiday season, both as a way to hone our skills and to have fun creating something out of pure passion for video games.

In 2021, Seth and I aimed to create a more ambitious version of SantaCorps, but due to our busy schedules and the scope of the project, we had to put it on hold. The idea lingered, becoming a recurring joke within the team. Recently, with our newfound experience and improved tools, we revisited the project from scratch and created the most extravagant and exciting SantaCorps game yet. I am deeply grateful to my brothers and the entire team for their dedication and hard work. I hope SantaCorps 4 brings a smile to your face and reminds you of the magic within your heart.
